Just like a dedicated server a VPS has its own dedicated environment, therefore O/S and WHM/cPanel software will occupy space within the allocated disk space.

Backups are critical to ensuring your hosted accounts are able to be recovered from an earlier time should you need it. All VPS's come with an on-disk backup regime where backups are generated second or third daily by default, however, we can configure this to save any configuration you like, just let us know your preference.

Our Netports cPanel™ VPS services are provisioned within a strong firewalled environment with security policies designed to provide increased protection whilst being as unobtrusive as possible. Firewall policies can easily be fine tuned to meet the specific needs of the VPS client.
Each Netports VPS comes equipped with ClamAV installed and running. ClamAV is an open source (GPL) antivirus engine designed for detecting and removing Trojans, viruses, malware and other malicious threats. Even though no threat detecting engine is capable of detecting 100% of threats, having ClamAV running within your VPS dramatically strengthens protection.
