Backups are critical to ensuring your hosted accounts are able to be recovered from an earlier time should you need it for whatever reason. Automated backups are taken daily and retained for seven days. You have the added security of your backups being stored off server which also means backups are not taking up valuable space within your allocated disk space.

ClamAV is an open source (GPL) antivirus engine designed for detecting and removing Trojans, viruses, malware and other malicious threats. Even though no threat detecting engine is capable of detecting 100% of threats, having ClamAV running within your VPS dramatically strengthens protection.
