24/7 Full Server Management & Pro-active Monitoring
Netports will monitor, update, patch and perform systems administration support work for you inclusive. Our pro-active core monitoring means that if we pick up that something is not right, we will resolve it without even bothering you. No more having to worry about updates, patches, fixes, reboots, glitches, trouble shooting issues etc, we look after things.
Dedicated servers will normally be priced online without GST and without any type of server management and monitoring so they appear inexpensive. GST and full server systems administration, management and pro-active core monitoring is inclusive in our pricing. Everything is up-front with Netports.
New Tiered cPanel Pricing.
cPanel now has a tiered licencing pricing method which is based on the number of hosting accounts being hosted. Unfortunately, this does make things a little more expensive but it is something providers and their customers all over the world have to deal with.
The minimum cPanel licence for a bare metal dedicated server is their "Premium" plan which covers up to 100 hosting accounts. There are no cheaper cPanel licence options for a stand-alone dedicated server. However, the "Premium" plan can of course easily be upgraded if you host more than 100 accounts.
If you specifically want a dedicated server but have much fewer hosting accounts than 100 and don't like the idea of having to pay for a "Premium" licence type, we have a solution for you. Check out our brand new Hybrid Mission Critical Servers.
Backup Local & Remote
All dedicated servers are configured with an on-disk backup regime which can be modified to your preference.
In addition, we also offer a remote backup service where we configure backups to be stored remotely for that supreme level of safety. At only $11.00 incl. GST per month per 100GB of remote storage space it is a very small amount to pay for peace-of-mind. We highly recommend this service.
