A Netports VPS server has dedicated physical and software resources with its own physical processing, memory and storage as well as its own operating system and web, mail, FTP and database servers. Each VPS server comes with Linux/Apache/CentOS/Virtuozzo Power Panel and Web Host Manager (WHM/cPanel™) to enable you full control over both the server itself and its hosting environment. The cPanel™ control panel is auto assigned to each hosting account you add.

*Note on Space: Because the operating system is loaded into the VPS disk space, Netports uniquely includes an extra 1 GB space on all VPS services free of charge to off-set this disk space usage. Therefore, the actual true physical disk space supplied per VPS is as follows:

VPS-1: 7GB  |  VPS-2: 11GB  |  VPS-3: 21GB

*Note on Bandwidth: Netports uniquely carries Fair Share technology one step further. Bandwidth is equal share on the specific main host serving that specific VPS series. Bandwidth quoted is guaranteed and represents the amount available to your VPS when the main host server is considered fully occupied. Therefore, your VPS may be delivered with larger quantities of allowable monthly bandwidth if the main host server is under-occupied.

Main Server Occupancy Levels:

Specifications of the main host node server or even specifications of a VPS itself can mean little if there are too many VPS's crammed onto a main node server.

You are assured overcrowding will never occur with Netports, in fact, our reputation as a premium VPS provider developed because of our unwavering commitment to the exact opposite - low occupancy levels. Also, as from January 2008 we have reduced our VPS occupancy levels per server even further to ensure increased levels of available CPU power to all our VPS services.

We now may not be the cheapest VPS provider in town but those who have a Netports VPS stay with us for very good reasons.

Main Server Specifications:

Dual Dual-Core Opterons (equivalent total of roughly 8,000MHZ of processing power) with 8GB RAM and Raid 10 HDD Array.

• WHM/cPanel™ is included as standard with all VPS servers from Netports. However, if specifically requested we can install either Direct Admin or Plesk as a no cost option in place of WHM/cPanel™. Please advise us during ordering.
  
  
• RAM memory quoted is dedicated to the VPS and is 100% guaranteed. However, in all likelihood a VPS may have available to it greater amounts of RAM due to our unique application of Virtuozzo's patented Fair Share technology.
  
  
• All Virtual Private Servers are now fully managed. This means you can enjoy the significant advantages of a proper dedicated hosting environment without the worry that you may not be able to manage it correctly. Netports support is available 24/7.
