Authored to a fixed width, this site maintains presentation integrity across all screen resolutions - so it displays exactly the same on a small laptop as it does on large desktop monitors.
As webdevelopers we were perhaps a little disappointed with the actual quality of the main header photo supplied to us. Resolution was quite a bit lower than what we would normally work with. However, with some aggressive post processing the image, together with the surrounding artistry, ended up working reasonably well.

On Saturday, 13 January, 2007 at 4:10 PM, Netports terminated our contract with Mission Beach Tourism Inc. over a serious breech of the Privacy Act by Mission Beach Tourism Inc. in which private and protected information was on forwarded to a third party then published in a government funded document without the knowledge or permission of the owner of that information. This inexplicable action resulted in embarrassment and reputational harm to the victim.
Whether information is private medical records based, business or personal related, Netports will not tolerate any client failing to abide by the Australian Privacy Act and/or Australian National Privacy Policy Principals. Netports will act decisively and swiftly to remove any offender from our network as we have done so in this disappointing and disturbing case.
Subsequently, Netports no longer hosts nor manages the Mission Beach Tourism website so many of the search engine results mentioned above may no longer exist. But please feel free to check this for yourself.
